The honest answer is that we're usually closer to the chains than people expect, and very often less by the time you've totalled what's included. Free local delivery, free in-home assembly, and clearing the packaging away are added to most chain orders as separate charges, or simply left for you to sort out. Once those are included in the comparison, the gap typically closes, and on a number of supplier brands we share with chains (Silentnight and Sweet Dreams in particular), our price is in direct competition with theirs at headline. We're happy to quote against any printed price you bring in.
